This will take place on Wednesday, March 18th at 6:30 pm at Yinova Brooklyn Heights for a panel discussion about endometriosis, a condition associated with pelvic pain, heavy periods, cramping, spotting between periods, abdominal swelling, and sometimes pain during intercourse. It can also interfere with the ability to conceive.

Meet the Panel
Dr. Elizabeth Poynor
Dr. Elizabeth A. Poynor, founder of Poynor Health, is a gynecologic oncologist and advanced pelvic surgeon, with a deep understanding of women’s health and a lifelong interest in the role of hormonal health in overall wellbeing, menopause, aging, and complex gynecologic issues such as PMS/PMDD, endometriosis, pelvic floor dysfunction, and PCOS. After completing advanced surgical training in gynecology, gynecologic oncology and advanced pelvic surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and maintaining a successful surgical practice there for more than a decade, she decided to focus exclusively on the care of women in a more comfortable, private, and integrative setting.
Dr. Brittany Griffin
Dr. Brittany Griffin is a board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist with a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine as well as a registered nurse in NY State. Brittany has an undergraduate background in human biology and genetics, and worked as a research assistant at NYU Brooklyn in obstetrics, neurology, and oncology. In clinic at the Yinova Center, she promotes an integrative approach to healthcare through evidence based medicine and interdisciplinary communication and enjoys treating a wide range of conditions and has extensive experience working with gynecology, fertility, and prenatal patients.
Dr. Jill Blakeway
Dr. Jill Blakeway is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), a licensed and board-certified acupuncturist (LAc), and clinical herbalist practicing energy healing for over 20 years. Jill founded the Yinova Center in 1999 and acts as Clinic Director. Jill is the author of three books; her first books, Making Babies and Sex Again, both dealt with aspects of women’s reproductive health.
