Reiki

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese healing practice that can enhance overall well-being. During a session, your practitioner channels Reiki energy which encourages release of energetic blocks on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels, thus supporting your own natural ability to heal and to maintain wellness.

Patients tell us that Reiki is very relaxing and helps them release old patterns. They frequently experience a deep meditative state during the treatment and typically feel calm, centered and more balanced after the treatment is complete.

Who can benefit from Reiki?

At the YinOva Center, we suggest Reiki treatment for patients who are:

  • Anxious or depressed
  • Having digestive problems
  • Having trouble sleeping
  • Experiencing pain
  • In need of clarity

Reiki also is a highly supportive therapy for patients with chronic illnesses as well as for people seeking to achieve or maintain a state of balanced well-being.

"When a friend who knew I was battling Lyme Disease gave me the gift of a Reiki session with Beth, I never dreamed it would lead skeptical me to become a regular client. Going into that first session, I was excited to try Reiki, but I had no expectations that it would have any discernible effect. But it did. After the session was over, I felt better and had more energy than I’d had in months. No exaggeration. In addition to the treatment itself, I felt so comfortable—and comforted by—talking with Beth. And, session after session, I continue to experience similar results. From the very beginning, working with Beth has been so amazing—transformative is not too strong a word—that I now consider Reiki to be an essential component not only of my “Lyme recovery program,” but also my overall well-being."
