Klara Kadar, L.Ac, LMT, MSTOM
Klara Kadar is a licensed acupuncturist, board certified herbalist, licensed massage therapist and labor doula. At the YinOva Center Klara draws on a broad skill set to provide her patients with the care they need.
Klara is New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, where she earned a Master’s of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM). Her training focused on integrating Eastern medicine with Western medical treatment to address illness in a comprehensive way and help her patients use both systems to achieve optimum health.
Upon graduation Klara continued her studies in Beijing, China where she earned certification from the Beijing Traditional Medicine Training Center of WFAS. As part of her clinical training, here in New York, Klara worked in a hospital setting at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she used both her experience as a labor doula and as an acupuncturist to provide pain relief to women during childbirth. Klara has also worked alongside prominent practitioners of Infertility acupuncture in order to hone her skills in treating female reproductive disorders.
Klara believes in incorporating a variety of healing modalities in her practice, drawing on various styles of acupuncture, massage, herbal medicine and nutrition to provide comprehensive care for her patients. This broad base has equipped her to treat women’s health and infertility, pediatrics, emotional disorders, and men’s health. Her experience as a licensed massage therapist also gives Klara an understanding of body mechanics which equips her to treat of sports injuries, pain syndromes, and musculo-skeletal issues very effectively.
