THE CAMBODIAN CHILDRENS FUND

At The YinOva Center we are proud to sponsor a child at The Cambodian Children’s Fund. Her name is Kunthea and she is eight years old. She lived with her mom and grandparents in a small shack on the Steung Meanchy garbage dump in Phnom Peng. She helped her mom picking through the garbage to earn enough to eat.

Last year she was awarded a place at the CCF. She goes to school at CCF and lives there although she goes home every evening to see her family. Thanks to the wonderful people at CCF she is getting good nutrition, healthcare and an education that will help her provide for herself when she grows up.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization working in more than 60 countries to assist people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe. FRIENDS OF THE ORPHANS

These include adequate shelter, access to sanitaion, safe water schools and health care.  For over 40 years Friends of the Orphans has transformed the lives of orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

CARE is a humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. They focus on working alongside impoverished women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty.
